Rita Ora is getting ready to ring in the New Year in Australia.

And the British songstress, 31, made the most of the Southern Hemisphere summer on Friday by stripping down to a black string bikini at the beach.

She shared a gallery of photos to Instagram of herself lapping up the sun, and captioned it: 'NYE - from me to you.'

Rita teamed her bikini with loose black pants and oversized cat-eye sunglasses.

Her long blonde hair was styled in beach waves, and she accessorised with several layered gold necklaces, stacked bracelets and gold earrings - including a pair of chunky hoops from Jackie Mack.

One photo showed her shrugging a black wrap off her shoulders as she posed seductively on the beach with her pants slung low around her hips.

Another photo showed her walking off towards the ocean with her back turned to the camera.

The Hot Right Now singer wore a full face of makeup, accentuating her pout with a slick of red lipstick as she posed on the nearly deserted beach.

Rita arrived in Australia at the beginning of December alongside her boyfriend of almost a year, film director Taika Waititi.

Since touching down in Sydney, they've been spotted shopping in Bondi and frequenting the beach, and even attended the premiere of Being the Ricardos.

Rita is in Australia to film The Voice: Generations and the next main season of The Voice Australia, with production believed to have commenced in early December.

Taika is also rumoured to be continuing work on several upcoming films, including Thor: Love and Thunder, which is in post-production.

Looking towards the future, Rita previously told The Independent she would 'love to have a nice big family'.

'I didn't expect to find love in Australia, nor was I looking for it,' she revealed of her relationship with Taika, 46.

She added she was keen to keep her relationship out of the spotlight to 'protect it'.

Rita met the Oscar-winning filmmaker in Sydney in February while she was filming The Voice Australia.

A source told The Sun the duo started 'secretly' dating in early March, three months before she left Australia for Los Angeles in early June.

'All their friends know about the relationship - they're really into each other,' the insider said at the time.
