A mouthwatering Greggs product is not available nationwide - and you can only get your hands on this classic bake in specific parts of the UK.

A corned beef bake is a staple across parts of the UK and this savoury pastry delight has quickly become a beloved Greggs favourite for fans of hearty snacks.

The tasty treat is particularly popular throughout Wales and the northern parts of England.

However, those in some parts of England looking to grab themselves a corned beef bake will be left disappointed as this product is only available in selected regions across the UK - including the Midlands, Yorkshire, Wales, the northeast and southwest.

The high street bakery said that corned beef bakes are a regional product due to demand and customer recognition.

Taking to TikTok @oliverrobertsmith took to the platform to question why on the back of a Gregg's bag in London there is a picture of the corned beef bake advertised.

The back of Greggs bags often feature printed patterns showcasing a variety of their pastries, including popular items like sausage rolls, steak bake, donuts and sweet pastries.

“This is just a quick one for the Greggs marketing team could you please explain to me why you have the corned beef bake advertised on the back of the Greggs bags when I have yet to find a Greggs in London that sell the corned beef bakes”, said @oliverrobertsmith.

Over 100 users rushed to comment on the viral video which has amassed nearly 3k likes. “They are deffo a northern thing like Newcastle etc”, said one commentator.

Another added: “I think because they’re mostly just sold in Wales."

A third said: “I reckon it’s a northern thing. Once I went into a Greggs in Manchester and they had Pepper steak bake, but we didn’t have them in London. Went to Greggs in Swansea and they also had their own unique bake, too.”

A couple of weeks ago Greggs launched a new mac and cheese dish on its secret menu and since then fans have gone wild on social media, saying it's the "best thing ever" and "life changing".

The high street bakery's "secret menu" isn't advertised on their website.
