UK gang hides as gym club while building secret fighting militia for 'race war'

A white supremacists group secretly trying to build a far-right fighting militia has been exposed after preparing for a ‘race war.’

An undercover investigation by ITVNews uncovered how ‘Active Club England’ were following blueprints established by neo-Nazi networks in Europe and the US to recruit members. The nationwide white supremacist group masquerading as a fitness club was comprised of more than 100 members and even had a branch that ran sessions at a park in Vauxhall, south London, just steps from MI6 headquarters.

Members were expected to hit designed fitness mandates of 60kg flat bench press and a 110kg deadlift or face expulsion from the group. Despite the group claiming to be "peaceful and legal" the recent investigation has triggered concern. The former head of UK counter terrorism policing has said it's clear “these are people preparing to commit acts of violence”.

In November members of the group in a branch in Buckinghamshire performed a ritual in which they performed a straight arm open salute – which the group referred to as a ‘Roman salute’.

This was one of three instances where ITVNews witnessed members performing Nazi salutes. These gestures were deliberately omitted from the group's social media pages.

One of the members of the group is a convicted violent criminal, previously jailed for a knife attack on a supermarket worker.

Jay Barlow, 28, who calls himself ‘Glenn', joined in December weeks after he was sentenced for multiple offences and when approached he denied having any knowledge of the group.

The investigation found that Active Club England had become one of Britain's largest white supremacy groups with at least eight branches across the UK. The investigation found members of the group claimed: “After the s*** is over, there's going to be a power vacuum and someone needs to step up. We're here to take power whenever the opportunity arises.”

On the findings Neil Basu said: “As a police officer, I would find this very disturbing.

“I’d want to monitor that individual very closely… you only need one of those people to be very dangerous. He sounds like one to me.”

Active Club England has been contacted about the findings of the undercover investigation. It said: “Active Club England is a fraternal organisation for young Englishmen, dedicated to the development of a culture of brotherhood, physical fitness and self improvement.

“We are unapologetically for the English people and our continued existence in our ancestral homelands. We stand for total victory through cultural rebirth.”
